Curriculum Vision

At Brunel Field Primary School, we want our pupils to love learning and to flourish academically, creatively, socially and personally. Our curriculum gives children the foundational skills and learning behaviours they need to succeed now, throughout their schooling and into adult life. These are defined as seven learning characteristics. Each learning characteristic is represented by a character that helps us describe the qualities and behaviours it promotes.

Our curriculum is designed to give pupils the opportunities to practise, embody and embed these seven learning characteristics. It equips them not only with knowledge but with the confidence to apply it, to question it and to be playful and creative with it.

This is the start of lifelong learning.
